On February 29, FSU Law won the 2020 Domenick L. Gabrielli National Family Law Moot Court Competition held at Albany Law School in New York. This is the fifth time Florida State has won the Gabrielli competition. Twenty-seven law school participated in the competition, including a team from New York University School of Law, which Florida States team beat in the final round of competition. Other competing law schools included Northeastern University, Seton Hall University, University of California Hastings , University of Nevada 鈥?Las Vegas, Wake Forest University, and William Mary. WHDH - Police are still hunting for a suspect more than 24 hours after a man was shot in broad daylight and left injured in the street in Lawrence.Shocking video recorded by a witness around 12:30 p.m. Tuesday showed one man pull out a gun and shoot another man at point-blank range following an altercation on Lawrence Street. They were both wrestling for the gun, the witness said. The guy on top let him up. When he let him up, the other guy on top punched him in the face. Thats when he shot him. Its crazy. Broad daylight. I just hope they catch the guy, the witness said.The suspect fled the scene in a 2008 white Infinity M35 Sedan with Massachusetts registration 5JY925, according to police.
