The usual suspects: UCSF, Barrow, Hopkins, MGH, Columbia. Just as good but not as hyped: UVA, Pitt, Duke, Baylor, Penn.

Curry is legit.  Carter is just starting out.  Yes, he's a force.  No, he does not have the referral pattern.  Boston is an oversaturated city, with respect to neurosurgeons, to begin with.  There is no way his practice is booming, unless he's parasitizing his colleagues (ala Mike Lawton at the BNI).
