Anyone care to share how much they make as a neurosurgeon or what offers they have seen? Neurosurgery always seems to be left out of the physician salary polls.

Depends on how much you want to work and never see daylight or your family.

There will prob be more opportunity in the future for this as more and more programs open their doors to women. Inevitably most of these women will want more cush hours to (rightfully) spend with their children. So you could stand to make a boatload taking call every night.

B/c as unreliable as surveys are, they are an order of magnitude more trustworthy than whatever you’ll get on a depersonalized online forum. Only negatives can come from people posting their pay online
